Cleopatra: Finishing touches

Yay! Cleopatra has been completed!

 We made Honey some cat ears using felt.

Cleopatra: The head piece

To complete our Cleopatra look,
we will be showing you how to create the
elegant headpiece she wears!
Let's Get Started!

Materials:
Hot glue gun
Jewelry (Pearls, etc.)

Step 1- We found the strings of pearls at our
local craft store (in the jewelry section)
and our mom gave us her old ring that
she didn't wear anymore.

Step 2- Arrange your pieces
in any way that you want, and hot
glue them into place.

Step 3- Let them dry for a few seconds.

Step 4- Fasten to your doll's head with bobby pins.

Cleopatra: The Dress

Today we will be making a Cleopatra dress for your doll!
Let's get started!

Materials:
Fancy fabric (we used an old t-shirt)
Sewing machine/needle and thread
Scissors
A doll (for measurement)


Step 1- Like our witch skirt, you need to measure 
where you want your dress to start. Cut out your material
accordingly.

Step 2- We decided to use the sleeve of the shirt to
create a sleeve for the dress.

Step 3- Sew all of your edges together. You may
need to use a needle and thread for fine tuning.

Step 4- We decided to make a cut off sleeve.


Step 5- Done!

Witch Costume: The Hat

Hey guys! Today we will
be making the witch's hat!
Let's get started!

Materials:
Black Felt
Scissors
Marking Material
Trim (Optional)


Step 1- Print and cut out the template.


Step 2- Trace the templates onto the fold of black felt


Step 3- Cut out what you traced

Step 4- Sew the pieces together

Step 5- Add trim if you like

Done! Now you have a witch hat for your doll! Hope you liked it!

The Witch Costume: The Skirt

Hello there crafters! Today, we will be 
showing you how to make the first part in our witch's costume.
This is the skirt! Let's get started!

Materials:
Old Petticoat (or something of that material)
Sewing Machine (or needle and thread)
Safety pin
elastic (if your petticoat didn't have any)
Myfroggystuff's how to make a doll skirt video (for help)

Step 1- Using your doll as a guide, measure a length of the petticoat
that can wrap around your doll (about twice). Cut it out.





Step 2- Using a safety pin, run your elastic through the
casing that was already in your petticoat.

Step 3- Pull the elastic to make a gather.

Step 4- Sew the edges together, making sure it can still
fit your doll.

Step 5- Done! Pair it with dark leggings, and
the first part of your costume is done!

Make a Gymnastics Mat for your dolls!

Hey there everyone! I've got a fun craft!


Materials:
Bottom of cloth grocery bags
Sewing machine or needle and thread


Step 1- Line up the bottom of your cloth grocery bags.
Eyeball where you want to sew.


Step 3-Sew together. Pins might help if your using a
sewing machine.


Done! Now you have a folding gymnastics mat for your dolls!

Tip:Want a bigger mat? Just add more pieces to the already sewn one!
Done!

Quick Craft: Tetherball

Who doesn't love a good game of tetherball? 
Today's craft will be all about that game!


Let's get started!

Materials:
Two 12 Inch Wooden Dowels
Yarn
Duct Tape
Water Balloon or Ping Pong Ball




Step 1- Put your two wooden dowels
together. Wrap them in duct tape to secure.




Step 2- Attach the yarn to the top with another piece of tape




Step 3-Blow up your water balloon. Attach to the yarn. You can
also use a ping pong ball.



Step 4-Put your dowels into a sturdy structure
(We used a candleholder with rocks in it).



Done! This is a really easy craft, and 
your dolls will really enjoy it!
